We’ve just been advised that the public access terminals in Washtenaw and Ingham counties in Michigan have been down since Monday, July 7, 2014 and that they may not be operable for up to a week or longer. Unfortunately, these systems are the only game in town when it comes to performing criminal background checks in these counties. Those requesting employee background checks in Washtenaw and Ingham should take note and expect delayed results until the court system has been restored.
